Patricia Neal display cabinets

Today we finished installing the display cabinets for Patricia Neal Center in Knoxville.  The large cases are located in the main floor lobby and will display awards and other items that have been donated from the Estate of the actress. 

The smaller cabinet is located on the 4th floor and will display an Academy Award (Oscar), a Tony award and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Estate. 

Rick Cox Construction

I got out today to get photos of the cabinets at the model home and office for Rick Cox Construction located in Harriman, TN.  The cabinets are Alder wood with a golden pecan stain and light accent glaze.  Countertops are granite.  Notice the corbels at the island and also on the mantle shelf above the range.  The fireplace has a beautiful wood mantle shelf and panel work above.

OSCAR NIGHT.....

We made the display cabinet for an Oscar award that was presented to the actress Patricia Neal.  The award will be on display at the Oscar Party hosted by Regal Entertainment Group this Sunday night.  The cabinet is cherry wood with a chestnut stain.  Square raised panel design.  The top display box is Lexan with cherry wood trim.

This has been a fun project.  We have several orders for our display cabinets.  These are great for trophies, sports balls, figurines or your very own Oscar!

This little corner cabinet holds alot of stuff but takes up hardly any room at all.

My dad made this table about 20 years ago.  It is red oak with a tung oil finish.  Timeless!

Happy Halloween

We have been working on two sets of painted cabinets for install next week.  We have also been working on a "cabinet remodel".  It's a set of cherry cabinets that we built and installed about 10 years ago.  The house was sold and the new owner has hired us to update the old cabinets.  The outcome has been great.  The new homeowner has purchased all new appliances and granite countertops.
